Our Floor Blokker is a highly engineered sound-damping underlayment that is designed to be installed underneath any style flooring or within walls or ceilings to create quieter living or working spaces throughout an entire location. The Floor Blokker isolation mat provides the fastest and most cost-effective way to meet the Building Code requirement of STC/IIC 50.
Made of recycled polymer-composite matrix, the Floor Sound Mat installs under hardwood, tile, or laminate to improve the sound-blocking capacity of the floor. May be nailed down, glued down, or floated for maximum IIC improvement. Floor Blokker is a sound isolation mat designed to achieve IIC 50+ under a variety of finished floors. It combines a layer of 0.75 lb/sf EVA-based Mass Loaded Vinyl with a polyester scrim layer, resulting in a 1/4″ thick uncompressed underlayment. Once installed, this sound isolation mat compresses to 3/16″ thick.
Floor Blokker is not designed for use with Ceramic or Porcelain tile, or LVTs less than 5mm in thickness.

MLV Seam Seal Tape is a heavy-duty polyethylene tape coated with a high tack acrylic adhesive. It is designed for use with our Mass Loaded Vinyl products, to properly seal any seams between sheets. Seam Seal tape does not need to be used on seams that meet on a stud, it is only necessary for vertical seams that do not butt up to each other on the stud, horizontal seams, and to mend any over-cuts. Seam seal tape can also be used to seal seams between sheets of sound underlayments.

With a Delta-IIC of 26, AcoustiStep is best used in homes or commercial projects with wood or laminate flooring. Designed to achieve an IIC of 50+ on a number of substrates, the sound mat installs easily over plywood or concrete subfloors.
Depending on your IIC requirements, the rubber underlayment is available in multiple thicknesses – 2mm, 3mm, 5mm, and 10mm.
The Drop Ceiling Noise Blokker is designed to allow optimal ceiling soundproofing above existing ACT tile grids. Placed directly on top of the existing tile, and designed with a woven 1 lb/sf Mass Loaded Vinyl core with STC 26, you can greatly reduce airborne noise passing through your ceiling grid.
This issue is most common in office spaces where a wall between offices ends at the ceiling grid, and does not go all the way to the deck. This allows sound to “flank” up and over the wall through the open space in the ceiling, and travel to the adjacent office – another term we use for this is “cross-talk”.
Fence Blokker is heavy-duty Mass Loaded Vinyl built to live outdoors – carbon-fiber reinforced so it carries its own weight hanging vertically, with UV protection extruded into the material rather than sprayed on the surface. Hang it along a fence line or wrap it around noisy equipment and it puts real mass between the noise and you.
Want it ready to hang? Choose Full Roll (+Grommeted & Custom Cut) and tell us the panel height you want in the order notes at checkout – 4.5′ x 6′, 4.5′ x 8′, 4.5′ x 10′, whatever suits your fence. Grommets are set along the top 4.5′ edge unless you ask for otherwise in Order Notes. Lead time is currently 6–8 weeks: the roll ships from the manufacturer to our warehouse, and we do the cutting and grommeting here before it goes out to you.
Commercial Acoustics Outlet Blokker is specifically designed to maintain high acoustical ratings in fire rated walls. It is easy to apply and will stay resilient (will not harden). Model Outlet Blokker is UL classified for both metallic and non-metallic outlet boxes to prevent the spread of smoke, fire and toxic gases. The pads are sized to cover standard size outlet boxes and are designed to work with several sound rated wall assemblies.
