Wall Blokker PRO combines a 1 lb/sf EVA-based Mass Loaded Vinyl Layer with a polyester scrim layer for sound reduction across a wide range of frequencies. Wall Blokker PRO is the heaviest duty mass loaded vinyl on the market due to its fused polyester scrim layer, and is ideal for use on wood stud wall assemblies or when sandwiched between an existing layer of drywall and and additional drywall layer.

Designed for maximum soundproofing and decoupling, it is 3/16″ thick including the polyester scrim layer, as opposed to the standard 1/8″ thick MLV.

Description

Wall Blokker PRO is a unique sound reduction material that combines a flexible mass loaded barrier and a soft, fibrous isolation layer to mitigate sound over a wide frequency range. Designed to be used anywhere superior noise reduction is required, Wall Blokker PRO can be installed behind a finished wall during new construction or can be placed between an existing wall and an additional drywall layer. The flexibility of Wall Blokker PRO also makes it extremely effective when used to cover pipe and duct chases to reduce mechanical noises.

Wall Blokker PRO can hung hung vertically, directly on the stud using nails or staples. Although it is a heavier duty material compared to our other Mass Loaded Vinyls, Wall Blokker PRO can still be easily cut around any penetrations.
