Just like its parent company, Commercial Acoustics, Soundproof Direct has continued to grow throughout the first quarter of 2018. Both division have experienced great success their new, EVA-based Mass Loaded Vinyl product lines designed to improve soundproofing between adjacent rooms and units. The first MLV of its kind on the market, its sold across the United States for hospitality, multi-family, and residential projects to improve the STC of demising and corridor partitions.
Commercial Acoustics Focus – Large Soundproofing and Acoustical Projects
In 2017, Commercial Acoustics created the spin-off division to service DIY clients that needed to soundproof small square footage projects. By offering an eCommerce solution, Soundproof Direct has streamlined the checkout process from the more commercially-focused quoting and invoicing system that Commercial Acoustics implements. Likewise, the average job size for Soundproof Direct is approximately 500 square feet, while Commercial Acoustics provides soundproofing and acoustical solutions for jobs as large as 500,000 square feet.
