Placed directly on top of the existing tile, and designed with a woven 1 lb/sf Mass Loaded Vinyl core with STC 26, you can greatly reduce airborne noise passing through your ceiling grid.
This issue is most common in office spaces where a wall between offices ends at the ceiling grid, and does not go all the way to the deck. This allows sound to “flank” up and over the wall through the open space in the ceiling, and travel to the adjacent office – another term we use for this is “cross-talk”.

Made of recycled polymer-composite matrix, the Floor Sound Mat installs under hardwood, tile, or laminate to improve the sound-blocking capacity of the floor. May be nailed down, glued down, or floated for maximum IIC improvement. The pads are sized to cover standard size outlet boxes and are designed to work with several sound rated wall assemblies.

Pipe Blokker$600.00Pipe Blokker is acoustical lagging for soundproofing pipes that combines a layer of 1 lb/sf, 1/8″ thick Mass Loaded Vinyl, with a layer of soft, 3pcf fiberglass. This product is meant to wrapped around pipes in order to mitigate the noise that they can cause. It can also be used around loud HVAC vents, Trash Chutes and Trash Compactors.
The fiberglass layer helps to keep the rigid pipe from touching any other rigid materials, and the mass loaded vinyl layer blocks the noise created by noise within the pipes such as flowing or flushing water.
Pipe Blokker is available in 4’x25′ rolls, and can be easily cut down using a razor blade or utility knife.

Seam Seal Tape for MLV$23.52MLV Seam Seal Tape is a heavy-duty polyethylene tape coated with a high tack acrylic adhesive. It is designed for use with our Mass Loaded Vinyl products, to properly seal any seams between sheets. Seam Seal tape does not need to be used on seams that meet on a stud, it is only necessary for vertical seams that do not butt up to each other on the stud, horizontal seams, and to mend any over-cuts. Seam seal tape can also be used to seal seams between sheets of sound underlayments.
Each roll of MLV Seam Seal Tape is 2″x150′.

Sound Control Acoustical Caulk$9.42OSI SC175 Acoustical Caulk is designed for use in sound rated wall assemblies. Acoustical Caulk should be used to separate the rigid connection that’s typically found between wall/ceiling penetrations and the drywall. Acoustical sealant is applied the same way as standard sealant, however once dried acoustical sealant is still flexible.
Our Acoustical Caulk is sold in 28 oz tubes.

Tested on Metal Studs (20-Gauge & 25-Gauge), our thinner Mass Loaded Barrier is easily hung on metal studs using 1/2″ staples or pan-head screws. Cut around any penetrations using a razor blade or a utility knife.
